Generation Witch (Japanese: 現代魔女図鑑, Hepburn: Gendai Majo Zukan) is a Japanese manga by Uta Isaki, who handled both writing and illustration. It ran in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex from December 2013 to April 2016, and its chapters were compiled into five volumes. The story takes place in a contemporary world where witches, who make up one percent of the global population, are recognized as a minority group. The narrative is structured as an anthology, with each chapter introducing a new protagonist and focusing on the daily lives of witches and their relationships with both other witches and non-witches. The city of Toma, based on Hamamatsu in Shizuoka, serves as the setting and is guarded by a "great witch."
